A mini session is a short and sweet photoshoot held on a specific date at a set location. It’s perfect for families who want beautiful, professional photos without the time or cost of a full session. You’ll get a taste of what it’s like to work with me, and walk away with a small collection of gorgeous, heartfelt images—ideal for updating your family album or celebrating this season of life, all at a more affordable price.

Summer is all about long, bright days, laughter, and making memories outdoors. My seasonal mini sessions for July and August take place in beautiful Lincolnshire locations, and we may also add a fun beach day for families who love a seaside backdrop.

Autumn is a season full of colour, warmth, and those golden light moments you can’t help but love. My mini sessions this season celebrate families and couples enjoying time together outdoors, surrounded by the rich reds, oranges, and golds of the season.

Christmas is all about togetherness, joy, and creating memories that last a lifetime. These festive mini sessions take place at Town Gate Christmas Tree Farm in Stallingborough, surrounded by seasonal decorations and that cosy, wintery feel that makes this time of year so special.

If you booked a mini session with me last year and received wildflower seeds, it’s time to enjoy the next part of the journey! Once your flowers have started to grow, simply take a photo and share it on social media, tagging me. Then reach out, and I’ll book your free mini session for your preferred date this year—you can choose any of the seasonal minis listed, including Christmas.


If your flowers are growing beautifully but all mini session spots are already full, don’t worry—you’ll still be able to book a full session with me for just £75 (usually £150). It’s my way of saying thank you for taking part and keeping the tradition alive.

What is a mini session?

A.A mini session is a short, fun outdoor photoshoot, usually around 20 minutes long. It’s perfect for families and couples who want beautiful, natural photos without a full-length session. Think of it as a little pause from your busy life to capture the moments that really matter!

Who are mini sessions suitable for?

A.Mini sessions are ideal for families with young children, couples, or even multigenerational photos. Pets are more than welcome too! Whether it’s laughter, cuddles, or playful moments, these sessions are all about capturing genuine connection.

How many photos are included?

A.Each mini session comes with 5 fully edited images included in the price. If you’d like more, you can purchase the full gallery of 20 images for an extra £100, giving you a full set of memories to treasure.

Can I bring my pets?

A.Absolutely! I love including pets in sessions—they’re part of the family too. Just let me know in advance so we can plan the best way to include them in your photos.

What should we wear?

A.What you wear can make a big difference in how your photos turn out! I recommend:

- Soft, neutral, or earthy tones – These photograph beautifully in natural light.
- Avoid busy patterns & logos – They can be distracting in photos.
- Comfort is key – Choose outfits that let you move freely and feel like yourself.

What happens if it rains?

A.These sessions are outdoors, so I always keep an eye on the weather. If it’s just a little drizzle, we’ll usually carry on—sometimes soft rain even adds a beautiful, natural feel to your photos! If the forecast looks like heavy rain, I’ll reschedule your session to one of the following weekend dates that I keep free just for this reason. To make sure we have the best options, it’s a good idea to keep those weekend dates free in your diary too. That way we can capture your session in the perfect weather without any stress!

Can we book multiple seasons?

A.Yes! Many families love capturing their year with photos in different seasons. Each session is unique, so it’s a wonderful way to tell your family’s story across the year.

Is there a limit on who can come?

A.Mini sessions work best with the immediate family or small groups so we can keep the session relaxed and fun. If you’d like a bigger group, let me know—we can plan a full session instead.

How soon will we receive our family photos?

A.You’ll receive your beautifully edited family photo gallery within two weeks of your session date.

During busy seasons (spring & autumn), it may take a little longer, but I’ll keep you updated so you know what to expect.
