The result is a gallery that feels natural, full of personality, and unmistakably them.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE SESSIONS

Every child has their own way of being in the world, soft and thoughtful, bold and playful, or somewhere beautifully in between.

These sessions are about creating space for that personality to be seen.

With gentle direction and a relaxed approach, we’ll create natural, beautifully composed portraits that feel true to your child, while still holding a sense of calm intention and artistry.

The result is a set of images that feel honest, timeless, and full of character.

FAQ

What age are childhood sessions suitable for?

They're perfect for children from around 6 months old through to their teenage years. Every stage of childhood has something beautifully unique worth remembering.

What if my child is shy?

That's completely okay.

I never expect children to perform for the camera. We take our time, chat, explore together and let them settle naturally. Some children are full of energy, others are quiet observers, both photograph beautifully.

What if they won't stand still?

In fact, I don't really want them to.

Running, climbing, collecting leaves, throwing stones into the sea or searching for bugs often creates the most meaningful photographs because that's what childhood actually looks like.

Where do the sessions take place?

I photograph children outdoors across Lincolnshire, including Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Louth, Brigg, Market Rasen, Lincoln and the surrounding villages. Whether you're looking for childhood photos on the beach, in the woods, among the wildflowers of the Lincolnshire Wolds, or somewhere that holds special memories for your family, we'll choose a location that feels meaningful to you.

My outdoor childhood photography sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable for children and parents alike, creating natural childhood photographs full of personality and emotion.

What should my child wear?

Simple, timeless clothing in soft, earthy colours photographs beautifully and keeps the focus where it belongs - on your child.

After booking you'll receive my styling guide full of ideas and examples to help you choose outfits.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather isn’t suitable for your family photography session, we’ll simply reschedule to another date. I always want your outdoor childhood photography session to take place in the best possible light and conditions, so your childhood photographs feel natural, warm, and full of atmosphere that reflects your story beautifully.

How long does a childhood session last?

Most sessions last around an hour.

There's never any rush though. We move at your child's pace so they have time to explore, play and enjoy themselves.

One day, these photographs will tell a story.

Not just of what they looked like.

But of who they were.

The cheeky smile.

The curious little explorer.

The child who always stopped to pick flowers.

Those are the memories worth holding onto.
